Digitalle Zertifikate sind noetig um authentische und sichere Kommunikation im Internet zu erreichen. Was die Free Software Bewegung fuer Programme ist, ist CAcert fuer Zertifikate.
In diesem Vortrag werden die Besonderheiten von CAcert praesentiert und gezeigt wie man die Root-Zertifikate in sein eigenes System einsetzen kann.
Im Anschluss gibt es die Moeglichkeit sich selbst zertifizieren zu lassen. Dafuer musst Du dich bei CAcert registrieren, im Menuepunkt "CAP/TTP Forms" 3-4 WoT-Formulare ausdrucken und zusammen mit zwei (eigene) Ausweise mitbringen.
